Successful Grocery Distribution Program Supports Nepali Students and Community in Woodside

Woodside, NY – February 19 – Sindhu USA Welfare Society, in collaboration with GPK Foundation America and Persaud Community Affairs Pantry Inc., successfully organized a free grocery distribution event to support Nepali international students and local community members.
Held at 4166 72nd St, Woodside, NY 11377, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the event aimed to provide essential food supplies on a first-come, first-served basis. This initiative, led by Pasang Norbu Sherpa, President of Sindhu USA Welfare Society, reflects the organization’s commitment to community welfare and food security.
With strong support from Somnath Ghimire, President of GPK Foundation America, and dedicated volunteers, the event reinforced the importance of collective efforts in addressing food insecurity. Sindhu USA Welfare Society extends heartfelt gratitude to all contributors and remains committed to continuing similar community service initiatives in the future.
